The Annex is newly renovated, fresh, quiet and in a lovely village. It is great for a relaxing getaway, or somewhere to relax after a busy day out. It has fresh bedding, towels, kitchen amenities and bathroom with shower including shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is a key lock box for you to happily let yourselves in and out and myself and family are next door if you need anything at all. The heating thermostat is in the bedroom and you can change settings to whatever suits you. I will be guided by you as the guest and give you privacy but also happy to answer any questions.
My name is Ellie and myself and my family including my husband, Adam and 2 children live next door. I have lived in the village for over 20 years and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. We are a working couple so you may see us going in and out. Please feel free to say hello, ask us any questions. Also we understand when coming away it is nice to get some privacy so we will be guided by you. we want you to have the best stay possible at the annex so any queries please contact me. If you have the time to message us with any suggestions/improvements that would really help us to give the guests the best stay. If you felt you had a great stay we would love you to leave us 5* review.
Irton boasts lovely walks and also the Garden centre is 5 minute walk away that if you fancy browsing the gorgeous plants and products followed by a cuppa and a slice of cake would highly recommend. Seamer is the adjoining village that is a 5 minute walk. There is lots of great things to offer such as an award winning fish and chip shop Seamer fisheries. Fancy some great pub grub and a pint? The Mayfield Pub has sports showing and also has event nights with great live entertainment. There is a supermarket Proudfoot's that provides all your shopping needs as well as local produce. Wilsons food Hall is a tranquil place to relax with a coffee and cake, brunch or early evening for a glass of wine. We are on many bus routes and close to seamer station for trains. 128 bus- travels through many villages such as Thornton dale, which is lovely for a walk and an ice cream or a local pint, all the way through to the market town of Helmsley that has a Michelin star restaurant and spa hotel available if relaxing is your thing. Also travels the opposite way into Scarborough. 843 bus-travels through seamer and through to beautiful city of York and continue to Leeds if city vibes is for you. Also travels the opposite way into Scarborough. Trains- there are regular trains that run from Seamer station, hop on the train to Malton, another beautiful market town full of character. Scarborough is 2.7 miles away and has a vast amount of things to do such as the traditional foreshore amusements with your 2ps for the slot machines and donkeys on the beach, to having a browse of the shops in the town centre. There are some great restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and takeaways if you would like any recommendations please ask. I have also made a guidebook on Air b n b that has more information for you to browse. There is Dalby forest a 20 minute drive away and 10 minute drive is North Yorkshire water park with a vast amount of thrill seeking activities.
