Chequers Hotel is situated in the large village of Pulborough, on the edge of South Downs National Park. Free Wi-Fi is provided, as well as free on-site parking. The local area is famous for horse and motor racing, as well as being a popular fishing destination. A private bathroom, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are provided with each room at Chequers Hotel. A hearty full English breakfast is featured on the varied breakfast menu and served in the bright and airy conservatory. Guests can also relax in the garden and take shade beneath the beautiful Magnolia tree. Antiques, collectables, jewellery, furniture are available at The Corn Store, which is a 5-minute walk away. You can also take a ride on a steam train at South Downs Light Railway, which is a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
