Bryn Glaw's location is undeniably a 10/10 for exploring Llandudno, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, our 2-night stay was defined by missed opportunities and a palpable disparity in treatment. The most telling example was the...

Bryn Goleu Bed and Breakfast—meaning "Light on the Hill"—is a historic property that first appeared on the 1843 Enclosure Map. Nestled in an elevated position on Gloddaeth Mountain at the edge of Llandudno, it is set within four acres of peaceful, natural surroundings, offering magnificent panoramic views and direct access to scenic walking trails. Despite its tranquil setting, Bryn Goleu is just a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Llandudno’s popular pier, shops, and restaurants—perfectly located for guests seeking both relaxation and convenience. We offer three tastefully decorated guest rooms, including a spacious suite, as well as a charming holiday cottage that sleeps up to four guests. Guests enjoy a highly praised, comprehensive breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients, served each morning in a welcoming setting. The property is ideally situated for exploring all that North Wales has to offer, including Snowdonia National Park, the Isle of Anglesey, National Trust properties, historic castles, stately homes, and many more regional attractions. Additional amenities include plenty of free on-site parking and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. At Bryn Goleu, guests can expect beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and outstanding value.
Wendy’s descendants are originally from Anglesey and one of the very first group of settlers in Llandudno where she was born & raised in the 1960’s. She was employed by Marks and Spencer and worked at the Llandudno store for a total of 32 years with a break between to raise her two children. Wendy is an animal lover and up until January 2022 owned a mare called ‘Dizzy’ who had been a family horse for 33 years. She also loves spending time with her three wonderful grandchildren. Wendy own time interest is Needlework and Fibre Art, including sewing, dress making, crocheting and knitting along with her group Sewing Bee friends. John is originally from Bristol and also a child of the 60’s (Amazing generation) raised with two sisters and an extended family of adults with learning difficulties from my Mums nursing homes. He served with her HM Royal Navy from 1978 and then employed in the construction industry in Builders and Plumbers merchants until August 2021. John loves DIY and renovation which works well with the property and business we have. We love our home ‘Bryn Goleu’ and Llandudno and North Wales and both passionate about sharing all of what we have and what we are with others, our guests, to experiencing the ultimate adventure making your stay with us ‘amazing’.
We are perfectly located close to the town centre, in an elevated position, tucked up on the mountain side overlooking the spectacular views of the seafront. Bryn Goleu bed and breakfast is a special place where you can unwind and relax in the peaceful surroundings. You can enjoy the picturesque views from the garden or take a walk across the mountain side to enjoy the jaw-dropping views of Snowdonia National Park, Conwy Estuary, Anglesey and Llandudno itself.
