At La Calade you will find a unique and welcoming atmosphere that sets us apart from other accommodations. Here are some of the things that make it special: We take pride in creating a cosy and eclectic atmosphere that is both stylish and comfortable. We use a mix of new and upcycled furniture and art to create a unique aesthetic. We love incorporating upcycled furniture into the space because it adds a unique touch while also being environmentally friendly. Guests often comment on the unique and interesting pieces used throughout the space. To ensure guests feel like they have everything they need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we provide amenities such as high-quality bedding, towels, and toiletries, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with all the tools and appliances guests need to prepare their own meals. In addition to the lounge area and kitchen, there is also a garden with a BBQ area that guests are welcome to use. This is a great way for guests to come together and enjoy each other's company or enjoy a glass of wine after a long day exploring. To help guests feel more welcome, we provide detailed guidebooks that include information about the area, as well as personal recommendations for restaurants, shops, and activities. We are also available to answer any questions or provide assistance as needed. Ultimately, our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home for our guests.

The village is a beautiful 5 minute drive through pine forests to Bize-Minervois, with its restaurants, bars, supermarket and river, perfect for a dip as it has a life guard during the summer months. We are also only 5 minutes from the Canal du Midi at La Croisade, with its canal-side restaurant. Narbonne, famous for its covered market and cathedral is less than 30 minutes by car, as is the beautiful village of Minerve and the UNESCO World Heritage City of Carcassonne is less than an hour away. A number of Mediterranean beaches can be reached in about 40-45 minutes and the Spanish border is 1.5 hours away
