L'hotel es troba dins dels terrenys de la Finca de la Magdalena, al punt més elevat de Soto del Barco, que gaudeix d'una vista impressionant i d'un entorn tranquil i únic. L'establiment és un edifici palatí construït el segle XVIII i que va ser la llar de diversos nobles espanyols. Ofereix als clients el lloc ideal per relaxar-se. Hi ha un spa fantàstic amb un circuit tèrmic i un ampli ventall de tractaments per relaxar-se. El pavelló ampli disposa de 10 grans sales de conferències i banquets amb capacitat per a 3.000 persones que inclouen finestrals i tenen vista sobre la localitat o el riu. Al restaurant del Magdalena podreu tastar cuina de fusió. També hi ha servei de cafeteria i bar.
