Located in the centre of Wassen in the Canton of Uri, the family-run Hotel Gerig has a restaurant with a garden terrace serving traditional Swiss cuisine. It overlooks the historic Gothard Railway and offers free Wi-Fi. Featuring traditional wooden furnishings, all rooms at the Gerig Hotel include a flat-screen TV and a work desk. They offer views of Wassen or of the historical railway line. The hotel features a children's playground with a big trampoline, a ping-pong table and numerous other facilities. The Wassen Dorf-Zentrum Bus Stop is 30 metres away and provides connections to Flüelen and Göschenen. The A2 motorway is a 2-minute drive away, and the Andermatt-Gemsstock Ski Area is 11 km away.
