A brand new development inspired by local land owner, John OB and property developer, Magnus Olson. Each of the 14 cabins are positioned strategically high on the ridge line overlooking 300 acres of rolling green hills and pristine hinterland. With the development nearing completion, Magnus now runs and manages the resort. Together with his fantastic support crew, the team are committed to providing a high level of standard in accommodation.

Maleny’s newest, luxury, boutique development, The Ridge at Maleny, offers 14 contemporary Scandinavian inspired 1, 2 and 3 bedroom mountain villas and cabins, fully self-contained, air-conditioned and nestled amongst 300 acres of pristine Sunshine Coast hinterland. The air-conditioned accommodation is 7 km from Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. 1 Bedroom Villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Each of our 3 adjoining villas features a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a fireplace, a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A microwave, a fridge and oven are also offered, as well as a kettle and a coffee machine.

Neighbourhood information

The Ridge at Maleny is situated in the rural area of Booroobin, just 8 minutes drive from Maleny. A food lovers haven, the surrounding area has plenty on offer to make your mouth water, from boutique wineries & breweries, cheese producers, artisan markets and award winning restaurants. For those who are more active and love to immerse themselves in nature, there are numerous hiking trails, nature walks, swimming holes and waterfalls to explore. To entertain the children you’ll find Australia Zoo, The Ginger Factory, The Big Pineapple and Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World just a short drive away. Local restaurants include The Terrace of Maleny (seafood), The Tamarind (modern Asian), Brouhaha (brewery) and King Ludwigs (German). Our personal favourite is Mountain View Café at Mary Cairncross Park with magnificent views of the Glasshouse Mountains. You won’t be short of things to do when you stay at The Ridge!
