Main Street Retreat offers you the taste of local village life. Our two elegantly appointed self-contained guest houses allow for a stroll to the local bakery for a terrific coffee and a choice of many outstanding cellar doors and Goodieson's brewery within walking or a gentle bike ride. The Catalina and The Hermosa are both 1 king bedroom guest houses, each with a wood burning combustion fireplace (May-Oct Only), private deck, garden and verandah. These guest houses give the option for two couples travelling together to have their own space and gather together. Sorry, visitors of guests staying are not permitted on the property.
I have travelled the world and have a good understanding of what's important when away from home, in terms of comfort, provisions and inclusions. Main Street Retreat is our latest sumptuous offering and fits well with our other property, The Vineyard McLaren Vale. We hope you enjoy.
Nestled in the heart of the village of McLaren Flat, just a stroll from Goodiesons Brewery, the fabulous Currant Shed restaurant and The Vale Ale Tap House as well as The General Store just one door down, you will love the convenience of Main Street Retreat. The Shiraz Trail (bike track) winds all the way through McLaren Vale to Willunga. Uber is available in the area but if you have a car you have access to some 80+ cellar doors, over a dozen fabulous restaurants, the Willunga Farmers Market (Saturday morning) and stunning beaches just 15 minutes away.
