Neighbourhood information

There are plenty of markets, boutique shops and galleries to check out, as well as the multiple spas and therapies in the area. Along with amazing cafe and restaurants such as local favourites - Koukla, Larder Cafe, Pancho Cafe (all within walking distance of accommodation), The Hepburn General Store, Cliffy’s or Wombat Hill Café in the Botanic gardens just to name a few are great for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Hotel Frangos is a great place to enjoy a cocktail or casual dining in The Bar or in the Agora Courtyard. The Daylesford Hotel & The Farmers Arms are good food pubs. Also try Bistro Terrior, Surly Goat, Frank & Connies or Betel Boy for great casual dinning. For finer dinning, try Sault, or of course The Lake House. Particularly good wineries are Glenlyon Estate (formally Ellender), Captains Creek, Passing Clouds. Other attractions are Lake Daylesford, The Botanical Gardens, Lavadula (The Lavender Farm), The Chocolate Mill, Tuki Trout Farm. "The House of Curiosity" in Howe St Daylesford and the shops in Hepburn Springs such as Portal 108 are a must visit. A great place to relax & unwind....eat, drink and more
