The Banksia Tourist Park is a family run business which has been running under the current ownership since 1987. With much love and dedication to the park, the current owners have continued to improve the park's facilities, amenities, gardens and rooms. The park's gardens whilst maintained by the park's groundsman are the pride and joy of the park's owners who have lovingly established the gardens over many years of hard work, and continue to improve them, showcasing some amazing Western Australian native species.

Banksia Tourist Park is located at the base of the Perth Hills, minutes from the Gooseberry Hill National Park, yet is only 20Kms from Perth CBD, 18km to Optus Stadium and 10km from Perth’s Airport. Other nearby attractions are a short drive away and include Swan Valley Wine Region, Bickley Valley Wine Region, Kalamunda Village , Lesmurdie Falls and Midland regional centre with a vast array of shopping options. The park’s facilities include a café style camp kitchen, luxurious camper’s lounge and recreation room, undercover playground, grand pool (open seasonally), gazebo barbeques, dog walk areas, park WIFI and onsite laundries. The park offers onsite accommodation ranging to suit all budgets, and offers small dog friendly options. All rooms offer reverse cycle air conditioning, television, 1 free parking bay for a standard car, kettles, toasters, crockery, cutlery and linen. Many rooms include kitchenette or full kitchens with ovens and cooktops.
