Situated within 700 metres of Taipei Zhongshan Hall and 400 metres of Taipei Main Station, Just Live Hostel features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Taipei. The location is good. Nearby a lot of food stall, restaurant and McDonald. Opposite is a shopping mall called Xin Guang San Yue. Alight in Taipei Main Station and can go out from exit Z4 (Staircase), Z2 (Lift) or Exit M8 (Escalator). Overall the entire place is clean and comfortable. They have coin operated washing machines and dryer, if you do not want to bring too many clothes, can do laundry there. Wash NT20 per time, detergent NT10, Dryer NT10 10mins, NT20 for 30 mins. For female solo traveler will feel comfortable to stay here.

Owners were very nice and very helpful with suggestions. The double bunk bed was very spacious, the facilities were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Fantastic value.

Work Inn 101 慕誠青年旅館 in Taipei provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Outstanding place for overnight for my work at TICC/WTO. Very clean, modern, rooms, showers. Fast internet. The little single might start to feel cell-like confining for a longer stay, but it met my needs.

Situated in Taipei, 300 metres from MRT Ximen Station, Dan Hostel丹居青旅 features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. The location is AMAZING! The best hostel I saw for a really good price. The dorms are comfortable and the bathroom and toilet are nice and clean. Really recommend this one!

Ideally located in the Datong District district of Taipei, Meander 1948 is set less than 1 km from Ningxia Night Market, a 10-minute walk from Taipei Main Station and 1.3 km from Taipei Zhongshan... It's a beautifully repurposed hostel and very was well maintained/managed. Spacious dorm room with a window, individual storage cupboard and space. Very good design of the bed pod - the bed was slightly bigger(wider) than a lot of hostel single bed; there're 2 lights inside with separated switches; curtain on every pod. The beddings were proper and comfortable. There's no bad smell, not humid in the room. I think soundproof were properly done as I never heard of any big noise, even though my bed was right next to the door and it's right opposite to the bathroom. I had very good sleep during the stay. The bathrooms were clean and properly ventilated - you would not start to sweat right after the shower. The kitchen was not big but it had everything essential - a big fridge, drinking water machine for cold and hot water - IH stove, cookware, microwave, coffee machine providing free coffee! And, the staffs were very nice and helpful. One of the incidence for example : I told the staff that I'd need luggage storage on the check out day, but I needed to checkout super early which was before their service time. The staff (she showed me around the hostel when checking in) told me to keep the luggage in the room and they'd take it down for me to the storage room. When I came back to take the luggage later the day, she went to take out my luggage without mistake - there's no keeping slip, no number; she even didn't ask me what colour /size was my luggage. I only requested it once (without repeating) when checking in. She noted down and executed precisely. It is a hostel, but this kinda service was as good as a hotel.
