It was owned by his grandmother and he has made it a welcoming space for travellers in her name. Wonderful map of The Fisherman's Walk, great selection of books and letters displayed from guests. Everything was very clean.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, garden, shared lounge and free WiFi, Slowly-Com Vagar is situated in Mourão, 15 km from Monsaraz Castle and 38 km from Alqueva Dam. Slowly Com Vagar is beautiful. The balance between the old building architecture and modern clean lines was exemplar and the art in every comer was exceptional. The best part though was Cristina, the heart of the house. She made us feel at home and every morning prepared an incredible breakfast for our family. We all loved her and still talk about her. :)
