Set in Pusok, 9.4 km from SM City Cebu, Otravel Hostel 5 minutes from Mactan Airport offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

L’hoste (el Richard) ha estat super agradable i ens ha recomanat moltes coses de la illa. Ens ha ajudat tant amb els apats com amb el transport o qualsevol dubte que tinguessim. Rwcomanem moltissim aquest allotjement. Molt bona gent!!

One of the most luxurious hostels I stayed in - definitely was not expecting this level of care and attention to detail! Everything is meticulously clean comfortable, and dorms are fully equipped with AC, large lockers, curtains, plug sockets, reading light and they even provide you with slippers! The free coffee voucher for the coffee shop next door, as well as the complimentary lemonade on arrival really made this a 5-star stay. Not to mention the discount on massages!

Set within 200 metres of Basdiot Beach and 26 km of Kawasan Falls, Susing Seaside Guesthouse offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Moalboal. Extremely clean! Owner is super helpful. Loved the stay. I was lucky enough to have the whole dormitory for myself.

MOMO Hostel in Moalboal provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. Located around 26 km from Kawasan Falls, the hostel is also 26 km away from Santo Nino Church. The host is very kind and tries to get all the guests to connect, which makes the experience great. The beds are comfy enough to get a good sleep, and the showers are some of the best I have seen! Another bonus is that you get to pet jack! (The owner's cute dog)

I arrived very late to the property after the reception was closed. The staff made sure I was able to access the dorm and do the check in process next morning

D & N LODGE in Daanbantayan provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. My flight was delayed and I missed the last bus to get there so I arrived at 5am. Knowing that I would arrive this late/early, the owner was waiting for me to make sure I arrived safely. She made sure I had everything I needed and allowed me to sleep in a bit later than the normal check-out time. Amazing staff, super nice!!! The room and bathroom/shower was clean, the bed comfortable. I would definitely go back!

Stayed in a private room. Great aircon, fast wifi. One of the more comfortable rooms I had in the Philippines. Market close by and a good Japanese restaurant.
