I had reached Darjelling pretty late but the host came to pick me up pretty late in the evening, which was so appreciated. As soon as you get there you get this feeling of getting laid back and easing up. They are such a nice bunch .They even have services availible for local commutes . I would highly reccomend everyone to ask the host for the local food and places(their recommendations),They will reccomend you places and restaurants that are gems.

Really nice dorm room and common area with very kind staff. They booked a tuktuk for me to go to the railway station very early on the day of my checkout. I came back here after staying a week before, and it was definitely worth it!

Had an amazing stay at Hills tale hostel.The location is calm, just walkable from bus stand and market and the owners and staffs were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the dorm room—it was spacious, well-lit, and the beds were super comfortable, offering a great night's sleep. The room was also kept very clean, and there were lockers for securing valuables. It was a perfect environment for relaxing after a day of exploring. I would definitely recommend Hills tale for anyone looking for a fun, social experience on a budget. I’d happily stay here again.

Sunny is very kind and helpful, he helped us to find a good ride to the guesthouse in the late night after our train was delayed. Also gave us many tips and welcomed us in our late arrival and made us feel like home. The room was clean and comfortable and everything that we asked we received with a smile

In a prime location in the Park Street district of Kolkata, Bohemian Backpackers Kolkata is set 700 metres from Park Street Metro Station, 1.4 km from Nandan and 1.2 km from New Market. I checked many places before choosing this hostel, and I’m really glad I did. The location is excellent, and I felt safe in the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, they let me check in early and also store my bag after check-out. I stayed in the female dormitory and everything was clean and comfortable. A solid choice for anyone visiting Kolkata.
