The Hostel Stories, Varkala - Helipad Road in Varkala provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. I intended to stay here for only 1 night, but it ended up being 4 because I loved it so much. I’ve stayed in a fair amount of hostels as a solo traveler, but this is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. It is situated close to the beach & restaurant area, & the property itself has a big common area & a beautiful outside area to meet & hang out with staff & other travelers. what makes this place unique, however, is the people who run it - they are so friendly, welcoming, & really care about you. If you are thinking of coming to varkala, then “Hostel Stories” is where you want to stay at for the good vibes!

Breakfast was delicious, the staff is amazing, the location is perfect (walking distance to restaurants and also to the beach), the converted bungalow is GORGEOUS, the common area makes it easy to make friends. One of the best hostels I've been in. I'll be back!!

The landscape around the village is nice and can be explored walking and the hosts are very friendly. You should also try the dinner they offer.

I loved everything! The secluded location, cleanliness, and most of all attention and genuine care from staff, especially from Shaziu. I stayed only 4 nights but would stay longer if I only could.

Situated in Cochin, 600 metres from Fort Kochi Beach, Kochill - Relax & Stay - offers a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property. I really enjoyed staying here at Kochill and extended my stay to four nights. The room is a good size and very clean and comfortable. The upstairs common area was comfortable and a great place to talk with other guests. And the hosts Babu and Kurumi were always around and very helpful with travel arrangements and ideas for local activities. The theater and dance shows at the local Kathakali theater were fabulous.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Design Ashram is located in Kozhikode, 400 metres from Kozhikode Beach. The property is maintained well with a relaxing ambience. The staff there were friendly and helpful. The location is also one of the commendable characteristics of the property. Highly recommend this for solo and group travelers.
