Hostel Merlin is attractively situated in the centre of Český Krumlov, and features a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Cozy and great location. I had low expectations but it was clean and the single room perfect even for those who don’t typically stay in a hostel. The building was really cool!

Hostelskippy is set in Český Krumlov, within 26 km of Přemysl Otakar II Square and 27 km of Black Tower. Great location with a small patio/deck overlooking the river. Friendly and helpful advice from the owner.

Set in Tábor, 50 km from Orlik Dam, Rodinný hostel Stárkův dům features views of the city. Immediate proximity of the historical market square, historical building itself, clean bathrooms, well used but clean rooms. Kitchen with old but clean furniture and utensils.

Set in the centre of UNESCO-protected Český Krumlov, Travel Hostel is just 300 metres from the historical square. The location is in the middle of the town (if you go by train and walk from the train station it's a really long way - do consider prioritize backpacks than luggages). The staff is super nice and friendly. There's a bar/restaurant just downstairs which is convenient and its also with good price. There are plenty of toilets and shower rooms. The rooms are old and stylish, it's a good experience.

This modern hostel in Ceske Budejovice is just 500 metres from Premysl Otakar II. Square and 100 metres from the large Mercury Center shopping mall. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Top-notch staff and the whole place surprised me in a great way. They so-called kitchenette is a proper kitchen with an oven and microwave, with a lovely balcony you can chill at (there is another one on the opposite side of it behind the elevator). On the other hand, I was in a private room with a shared bathroom, but you only shared the bathroom with another room, so that is pretty good as well.

Featuring a stylish Cuban bar and free Wi-Fi, this hostel is located in a historic building in the centre of Ceske Budejovice. Premysl Otakar II Square is a 5-minute walk away. I changed my booking to a solo room when I was checking in. The receptionist at that time (tall, tattoed lady) was incredibly helpful and made it work. She was very nice and approachable through all my encounters with her. The Room is incredibly spacious and enough to house 4 people. Its clean and well kept. Location wise, walking distance to thr square (7mins) and the main bus station (15mins). For those concerned, you dont need to go thru the bar to get to your room, although its above the bar it has a separate entrance.

Hostel Favorit is located in Týn nad Vltavou, within 22 km of Chateau Hluboká and 32 km of Black Tower. Wonderful one-night stay. They seem to spread out guests, so it felt really private. The kitchen is pretty bare, but there is a hot plate and microwave. The staff did not speak English, but it was no problem at all. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big windows. Several grocery stores nearby.

Set in Kvilda, Zotavovna Kvilda offers ski-to-door access. Among the facilities at this property are a kids' club and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Owner was really nice and accommodating. This was the cheapest room in Kvilda and I saw photos from previous visitors, there were no surprises. After 80km bike ride all I need was a hot shower and bed. Btw, you have to make your own bed - not a big deal though. Book directly for even better rate.
