The owner picked us up from the Thai check office and the next day took us to Chiang Khong to take the bus to Chiang Rai, at no extra charge. In the evening we ate excellent Thai food at their restaurant. Also in the morning his wife gave us delicious fruit from their garden as we left. Definitely highly recommended.

El Gita's House se encuentra en una zona tranquila de Chiang Rai, a 15 minutos en auto de la terminal de colectivo, y ofrece un alojamiento acogedor. En general este hotel es fantástico, bonito tranquilo y acogedor. El personal servicial y amable, organizaron muestra recogida en el aeropuerto, nuestro tour por la ciudad un día completo y depsues ellos mismos nos llevaron a la estación de autobús. Nos hicieron el favor de servirnos el desayuno antes ya que nos íbamos temprano. Mi 10 para ellos.

Alex and his family welcomed us in their lovely guesthouse. The room is comfortable and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating in the garden, great ac and wifi. The beds are hard (true south east Asia style) but it's exactly how we like it, so perfect for us, and you are given two blankets to choose how warm you want to be. Shower has great water pressure and hot water, and a hairdryer and towels are provided. Alex's wife and kids will prepare and serve a lovely breakfast of eggs and toast in the lovely patio. Tea, coffee and water are always available. Truly a lovely place to stay, tucked away in a quite street 10 minutes from the center of Chiang Rai, this is truly a lovely place to stay.

Great space, lovely big room and a fabulous patio with a sunset … so much walking, love all the rice paddies, pineapple fields.. the quiet of the location made it a perfect retreat area for us… work out on the patio also yoga and meditation… Mark and Kallaya were lovely hosts
