Villa Sisu is a recently renovated homestay in Överkalix, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. I had a very pleasant stay in Överkalix. What was supposed to be only a stop on my drive back to Finland from Norway, really turned into a surprisingly relaxing and beautiful time. The interior of the place is lovely and the hosts very, very nice! Totally recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Martin’s lovely guesthouse. It’s a comfortable double bed with Netflix on tv and good spacious room. Nice designed and decorated house too! We spent the evening by the fire and heated up some food, and it was a beautiful and cosy time with our host and other campers. Kitchen is fully equipped and the property is huge - you can roam around, go for a dip, go fishing and play around the fields. Great place and we’ll return again 😊🙏

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.... Wonderfull silent place to see the Aurora from your terrace in front of the lake. We saw it!!! Cozy, clean comfortable cabin with everything you need, better than a hotel. If you need a peacefull place to stay that's the best place for you. Very nice owners. Situated in Piteå, 2.2 km from Piteå Bus Station, Pensionatet features a barbecue and views of the city. Pensionatet's guest rooms are spread out over four different buildings. Brilliant place. Everything from how's it's decorated to the breakfast was top quality. Fully equipped kitchen with quality tea and coffee available. Even the soap and shampoos available in bathroom were top. Spotlessly clean. And this place is truly dog-friendly! Excellent value for money ratio. I travel Sweden from North to South quite often and this place is a real gem. 11/10

Situated just 5.5 km from Kiruna Train Station, Laplanders rooms provides accommodation in Kiruna with access to free bikes, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Great location in being between old town and new town (as of 2025). While it is a bit further from old town walking distance wise it is also conveniently placed near the bus stop and very close to the new center of town. Stig is a wonderful soul, who is always on hand to help and suggest where to go and what to do. During our stay he showed such immense hospitality, taking us to a great lunch buffet place, cooking us fish he caught, and letting us use his sauna among many other things. He’s on hand to help, we had an issue with our keys one night which was fixed really quickly. I guess another important feature is that you have easy access to view the northern lights from just outside of the guesthouse!
