This accommodation was very nice and the host is so friendly and considerate. All the facilities were clean, the neighbors were courteous and the bikes provided made our stay so eventful. I recommend anyone staying in Fuji to stay here. but just be aware you will be walking or biking a lot so prepare mode of transportation beforehand.

La casa molt tranquil•la, amb totes les comoditats. Es pot veure el Fujisan des de la finestra de l'habitació. Ens van recollir de l'estació amb les maletes i també ens hi van portar l'últim dia sense cost addicional. Super tranquils.

She was very informative and helpful. I mentioned my plan to climb Mt.Fuji from station 0 and she gave me information about the mountain itself/traditions and which way to go. She also helped me figure out where to get dinner the day before, as it can be a bit difficult for a vegetarian like me. The house itself was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was both tasty and healthy. Ps. I successfully climbed Mt.Fuji!

The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Would book this place again over a hotel any day

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Arakura is an accommodation set in Fujiyoshida, 7 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km from Mount Fuji. The room was large. We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

The room is clean and calm, we got free upgrade to larger room. The location is walking distance from the nearest Fuji bus stop (the green line) The owner is very nice. He offered us a free shuttle service to the station and to Fuji Q Highland Resort.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko and only 1.5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Minshuku Iwaki provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Authentic guest house with an excellent host. We got green tea on arrival. and transferred us and our luggage to the train station. He was very nice, even though we were a bit troublesome (complications with arrival time etc.) The view was also beautiful, I hope I can come back for a longer period here.
