I stayed here my with my partner over her birthday. It was surprise for her and we stayed a few days in this location. We loved this guest house so much, it was quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature and not too far away from Reykjavik by car. On our first night we could see the northern lights and had an amazing view on Reykjavik at night. The house was super cozy and warm, we felt right at home every time when we came from a day full of sightseeing in the cold. We would definitely come again!

Absolutely excellent stay! Although I mostly spent the evenings at Casa Dísa, since I was exploring Iceland during the day, she made sure to provide enough information to help me enjoy the local area and plan my activities. She's also an extremely kind and warm person. My room was spacious and had a view into a beautiful garden. Overall, I found it to be of excellent value.

Set in Kjósahreppur, 45 km from Thingvellir National Park, Hvammsvík Nature Resort has a private beach area, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

Well situated in the Vesturbær district of Reykjavík, Refurinn Reykjavik Guesthouse is set 1.5 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church, 1.6 km from Solfar Sun Voyager and 3.6 km from The Pearl. My favorite place to stay in Reykjavik! I spent almost two weeks there and had to keep changing the dates, etc., due to travel conflicts. I was accommodated by the owners immediately and with zero issues. The rooms are super clean, the kitchen is perfect AND there’s a washer & dryer! I barely heard any other guests - everyone was respectful of being quiet at night, etc. I will definitely stay here on my future trips (this was my 6th trip to Iceland). It beats all the overpriced hotels in the area. Perfect location to walk anywhere in the city and a super quick walk to the harbor, restaurants and grocery stores.
