Very comfortable beds, elegant furniture, a fantastic selection of coffee, teas, cookies, etc, great choices for breakfast, and the owners were very helpful, providing a shed to store our bicycles in overnight. It felt like this is how all guest houses should be (but often aren't)!

The staff were very kind and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated in a charming country style. It was clean, well-equipped with plenty of amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The meals at the pub, as well as breakfast, were warm and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Host was very friendly and welcoming on my arrival. The property and room were spotlessly clean and room was spacious, light and airy. There was a decent size bathroom with shower in the room I had Close by and within walking distance to local shops and tram/bus services. I had an amazing breakfast; plenty to choose from to eat and drink, as well as a cooked English breakfast. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

Kingscroft is situated in Buxton, less than 1 km from Buxton Opera House, 24 km from Chatsworth House, and 28 km from Capesthorne Hall. Very comfortable room and beds in a great location! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It is obvious they love hosting and think of all the details to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful with large portions!

Located in Bradwell, 18 km from Chatsworth House, The Shoulder of Mutton provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything. The people were just lovely and most helpful. The room clean and comfortable. We had light breakfasts but there was a variety and the cooked breakfasts looked good as well. The food in the pub was good, home cooked and again a variety to choose from. Would stay there again.

Stanton House Annex, a property with a garden, is situated in Bakewell, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, 34 km from FlyDSA Arena, as well as 41 km from Alton Towers. Andrew and Sarah were such great and friendly hosts! They were helpful and the breakfast that we ordered was fantastic. The place is clean and comfortable for 4 of us. The location was great too, close to Bakewell town and attraction spots
