Rooms at Meadowcroft are traditionally furnished, and benefit from a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There is storage space in bedside chests of drawers and a wardrobe in every room. Spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and they catered for both vegan and gluten intolerance. The linen was great and all facilities were clean and new. The hosts were friendly and always available. I recommend that anyone that stays there goes to the Windmill Inn only 100m down the road for a meal. Lovely garden and next to a petrol station and shop if you need to buy any basics.

Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.
