Offering inner courtyard views, Hostal Villa del Sol is an accommodation set in Salento, 47 km from Ukumari Zoo and 36 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden. We loved our stay here! The location is great - close to the main square and restaurants, but quiet in the evening. Our room was on the main road and whilst there was some occasional noise in the night, this is unavoidable and didn’t impact us. The view from the courtyard is incredible. The room itself was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we had plenty of blankets to keep warm as the temperature dropped in the night. There was soap provided in the bathroom which we didn’t expect for the price! Our room wasn’t cleaned during the 3 night stay but it was offered to us (I.e. not done automatically but on request). We didn’t make use of the communal kitchen, but it’s great to have the option to make your own food. There is also a mini mart next door so this would be very easy! Also a nice perk that coffee and water are free. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming - they helped us with recommendations, taxis, and even did some laundry for us for no charge. Diego in particular was always very attentive!

Located in Salento, 47 km from Ukumari Zoo, Km0 Hostel has a terrace, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The staff at the hostel were extremely polite. They helped me with any difficulties I had during my stay there. They gave me a lot of useful advice and we became friends.

Exceptional experience. Staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. Location amazing about 1-2mins by foot from the main square, and easy to spot. The room was spotless, with high-end furniture. The linen was extremely comfortable and soft. Felt very safe. The view is breath-taking. In the hallway there was water and coffee. Price was amazing for such an experience. When I come back to Salento, will not look for a hotel, just going to book this one, best uncomplicated hotel experience
