Obwohl man in einem Zelt schläft, muss man auf Komfort nicht verzichten. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank, Ventilator, Ablageflächen und man schläft auf einer Matratze. Alles ist liebevoll gestaltet, so wie das Badezimmer, welches sich direkt hinter dem Zelt befinden. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Morgens gibt es leckeres Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse. Rund um Ella gibt es viele Aktivitäten und Attraktionen. Uns hat es gut gefallen. 😊

Even when there was a miscommunication about our guide’s departure time, I was able to reach them at 5:30 AM, and they immediately helped us sort things out. That level of dedication made our stay feel effortless. The tent and accommodations were spotless, offering the most breathtaking view I’ve ever experienced from a tent. We had a direct view of the waterfall, which we later visited and even stood on top of—an unforgettable moment. While the stay may feel a bit more expensive, it’s worth every penny if you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime, comfortable experience in nature. One of the highlights was hiking to Ella Rock early in the morning. The hotel has a backroute to the trail, and their guide took us along with so much care—helping us over rocks and steps while letting us go at our own pace. It made the hike feel safe, enjoyable, and truly special. The people here are genuinely warm and hospitable. Getting to Ella town was easy, as the hotel arranged tuk-tuks at very reasonable prices whenever we needed. They also organized a seamless pickup from the train station, making our journey stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and incredible hospitality, this place is a must-visit!

Frühstück sowie Abendessen werden frisch zubereitet und unten am Camp serviert, super Service! Die Sanitärenanlagen sind gut. Der Weg zur Lodge ist leider etwas schwer zu finden. Es gibt ein Schild oben an der Straße, direkt neben Frankys Hut. Die Familie nimmt einen mit Tee in Empfang und leitet einen gut durch die Teefelder zum Camp. Man muss wissen, dass der Abstieg wirklich nur zu Fuß in 10min möglich ist, man bekommt dafür aber einen wunderbaren Blick ins Tal und kann dort gut verweilen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr bemüht und macht auf Wunsch sogar ein Feuer. Von dort aus sind auch einige Wanderungen zu erleben.
