Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Anuradhapura neben einem Reisfeld und umgeben von Palmen. Es ist super ruhig in der Nacht und von der Dachterrasse aus hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht. In etwa 10min Fussmarsch ist man auch bereits bei den ersten Stupas. Der Besitzer Sam ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er machte mit uns eine kleine Fahrradtour durch die wunderschöne Landschaft und zeigte uns viel Vögel, Pflanzen und riesig Echsen. Er machte mit uns auch eine Führung durch die historische Tempelanlage bei Nacht, welche hochinteressant war. Für all dies verlangte er nichts zusätzlich. Er war wirklich ein perfekter Gastgeber und wir bedauerten es, dass wir bereits nach NUR zwei Nächten, weiterreisen mussten, da ich bereits im Vornherein einen Tauchkurs in Trico gebucht hatte. DANKE SAM, wir werden die Erlebnisse mit dir nie vergessen.

The property was really amazing, clean and authentic. The slept in the big tent in the middle of the garden of the guest family, which is full of vegetation (papaya, pineapple, coffee, banana, coconut trees). The family was just incredible, really helpful. They prepare the breakfast and dinner for us with lot of products of their garden. Everything was delicious and we discover local food. We rent bicycles to go temple, it was the best idea. The location is really good ! We went to visit Mihintale with the father and his daughter and we learn lot of things about the culture. He’s always have good story to tell. You definitely have to go there !!

The staff were friendly and helped us organisted our meals around our very early safari plans. The room was lovely and the food was brilliant. im so ashamed that i have forgot his name to mention.
