The location regarding the beach and city is superb. Very comfortable and clean. Also à lovely breakfast always well shocked with fresh ingrédients.

Excellent location intra-muros (within the walls) of Saint Malo. This apartment is one of a small percentage that did not get destroyed in World War II, and it's been restored to perfection. It's absolutely beautiful and very luxurious. Pascal and Christian have thought of everything and welcomed us so warmly. All 8 of us lived and slept very comfortably. What a treat to stay there; we wished we could have stayed longer!

I think this was my fourth visit to Hotel De L’Univers and I think it is excellent value. A superb location surrounded by classy shops and restaurants. It has a great bar area which is clearly popular with the locals. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly. There is a humidor with some very smart cigars if that is your thing!

Friendly staff, swift and pleasant reception / check-in process, receptionist takes you to your room and explains everything (friendly and very efficiently). Two restaurants on site, one Michelin-listed and a bistrot that serves outstanding food (same chef I assume!). Nice swimming pool.

A delightful surprise of a grand old house, surrounded by greenery, tucked away in a pretty residential area. So bucolic they even have chickens The owners were lovely, friendly and gave the impression that they were happy for you to be staying there. The essentials for a B&B were superb. A quirky attractive room, a wonderfully comfortable bed and sumptuous breakfast including the best yoghurt I have ever had, proper pastries, homemade cake plus cheese if required. Nothing was too much trouble. Astonishing value for money.

Brillant! Owner very accomodating and friendly.. And our room was decent size perfect for 3 person and location wise, not too far from city center, very accesible! 5 Star!
