The guest house is in such an amazing location, with fantastic food and drink options all around. Having traders Joe's around the corner was also a bonus! The breakfast room was really great as well. Having the microwave helped save on a few meals as a solo traveller on a budget! I also met Tim, the guesthouse manager, and he had some fantastic recommendations and was so lovely and accommodating. I'll definitely stay at the Guesthouse again if I visit portland in the future!

The staff was friendly always accommodating and very helpful. The pool with the kid friendly part was the icing on the cake for my kids. They went to the pool the evening before and after breakfast the next day. The age requirement was helpful because I could leave my older son with his younger brother. Great that you're a family friendly hotel in a big city, many hotels don't offer this option.

Highly recommended for travelers with kids! This hotel is the best hotel where I would like to stay whenever I travel to Portland with my family. The staff is always nice. The room is clean. There is almost everything you need when traveling with your kids- free spacious parking, a laundromat, a convenient store, delis, a cinema, and a restaurant-all downstairs.

This hotel is for families with young children who want to be in the city. They offer a drink coupon for a value snacking and breakfast. The room was clean, but not details were overlooked.

Loved the vibe of this hostel/hotel and the Pacific Standard bar on the main floor. Location was great. Our deluxe family room was attractive, comfortable, roomy, and functional; it had all the amenities we needed. Staff were available 24/7.

Literally the most kid-friendly hotel I've ever stayed at. Toddlers loved the paddle pool (shallow, Baby Beluga the Whale squirts water), multiple waffle flavors at the free full breakfast buffet, and mini lollipops at the front desk. I loved the location relative to Powell's, cafes, and public transit, and that even with the valet garage parking cost, it was still cheaper than the conference-affiliated hotel. Added bonus: our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so they gave us a free upgrade to an enormous room.
