Everyone was so kind and friendly! Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant downstairs were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! The location is fantastic, within walking distance to both castles and the lake. Cozy, traditionally decorated room. Both room and bathroom were clean and comfy. We liked absolutely everything: the room was spacious and clean, the view from the window was of the mountains, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast food was varied. I also want to mention the hotel's location! The hotel is very close to both castles, the lake, and the Bavarian Kings Museum. Thus, the room was simply huge with 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. We felt like a king as breakfast was served to us based on what we ordered! They kitchen baked us fresh croissants! Most importantly, by foot, you should reach the castle between 20 to 30 mins though abit of a slopey walk up. Parking close by, which made life easier with 2 kids and 4 bags. Staff were brilliant, made us feel very welcome and even helped us out with a phone charger for the night! Room was perfect having 2 rooms with 2 double beds, and a balcony with views of the castle. Food and drink in the restaurant was great. And breakfast was also perfect.
