Amazing Family Hotel

The family who runs this place was extremely friendly, and the price for everything we got (Gliko, breakfast, comfortable beds, hospitality) was very good. Beautiful house, very interesting for us who love dry-stonewalls. The kid speaks very good English.

This house has everything you need! The outside may look shabby but the inside interior is amazing. The house was extremely clean and the shower the best we had in a long time! The owners and her neighbors so so kind. The location is great and parking very easy. The price quality of this apartment is superb. We stayed here with two small children (1 and almost 3years old) and had an amazing time. Highly recommended for people looking to explore the Vjosa River Valley!

Our stay at Guesthous Ilir was very nice. We are family (2 adults and 3 kids) from Switzerland. The rooms were clean. There is a common room with a small kitchen, a refrigerator and some dishes. The couple that runs the hostel is very very friendly, helpful and cute. They are also supportive when it comes to doing something. They recommended a rafting trip which was a lot of fun. The roof terrace is just indescribable and the breakfast is very rich. The hostel is a bit above the city and yet very close to the city center.

It was OUTSTANDING! Very nice, comfortable room with brand new furniture, smart TV.... The restaurant was fantastic: huge servings of fantastic food for very affordable prices. It's a family business and as such all the stuff act. They are all super nice and caring. Wonderful stay!

The apartment has enough space for a family (with 2 kids) and is very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved the bathroom with rain shower. Finally, we were very glad there was a washing machine. The owner is very helpful and made some great suggestions about the trip to the apartment and were to find nice restaurant etc. We made a roadtrip through Albania for 10 days and this was one of the most comfortable apartments we stayed in for the best price.

The welcome of the family epitomizes the definition of hospitality. Room is tastefully decorated and has good beds. Excellent air con. Bathroom is functional. The breakfast is made with love, and it tastes delicious.. Parking is possible in front of the door. There is a terrace to enjoy doing nothing... Great base to visit the thermal springs and the canyon or to go rafting on the river.

I’ve been to hundreds of different guesthouses around the world and this was one of those that I can call exceptional. The guests are picked up by 4x4, so it’s not a trouble that it’s up in the mountain. Had no troubles getting there with two small children. And up there it’s only beauty and charm.
