I was looking for somewhere quiet to relax with amazing sunset views, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the chef even taught me some Swahili! The staff were incredible: always friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to make sure everything was just right. It’s the little things that really stood out. On my last day, I had a late-night flight and was going to miss breakfast. Without me even asking, they packed one up for me to take on my trip. That kind of thoughtfulness says everything about how much they care for their guests. I’d 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat if I get the chance to visit Zanzibar again!

I have had the best experience here with such a beautiful atmosphere and services provided! The beach also very accessible with wonderful seating also next to the pool and gym! The food is top level with verity of options, "don't miss out the fresh catch of the day"! The service provided by very professional and nice staff, special thanks to Evaline and Max for this lovely welcoming and friendly conversations explaining all to the residents! Lovely place highly recommended and would definitely visit again!!

Babalao Bungalows está ubicado en Nungwi y tiene una pileta al aire libre, jardín, salón compartido y terraza. We read the reviews before booking but were amazed that everything was even better! The owner Max welcomed us on our arrival and we had welcome drinks and children got ice creams. Very lovely place, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds. We loved the relaxing pool/restaurant area. Great to connect with other guests. Free water available at all times. Great breakfast that is different every day and it has no end time. One day we had a very early tour and we had our breakfast at noon. Beach is also very close. Max was so helpful that he even organized us a driver to take us to Paje for two times less money than our planned taxi was going to be. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Ps. Our kids favourite part were the friendly dog and the cat.

Trato amabilisimo, comida excepcional, todo buenísimo, la playa muy buena, la zona con mucho comercio local donde se puede comprar a buen precio, puede resultar diferente para un occidental, pero la gente del pueblo es buena, eso si, tienes que regatear por todo lo que compres, también se puede cambiar divisas en las casas de cambio en el pueblo con absoluta seguridad y buen precio
