In a prime location in the West District district of Taichung, Spring Rhapsody Hotel is situated 2.4 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Everything! Staff were great from the minute we arrived, very friendly and welcoming and helpful (Meg in particular was very welcoming, kind and great fun to chat to as we checked in!). The breakfast was lovely with a great variety. Room was very nice and even had an unexpected view and mini balcony as well as free snacks and drinks in the room which we were not expecting. We LOVED this place, if we’re ever lucky enough to visit Taichung again we’ll be staying here!

Set in Kaohsiung, less than 1 km from Formosa Boulevard Station, Fullon Poshtel - Kaohsiung offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The hotel is new and very clean. Great location close to the love river. The room is spacious, the staff is professional and super friendly. We were moved to an upgraded room immediately when we told the front desk about white noise from the aircon converter outside the window. We will be back definitely.

Located in Dayuan, 10 km from Zhongli Railway Station, alfar Hotel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. Good location. Located next to a pond/garden where lots of locals gathered around with dogs/pets and kids. Nice to talk about plus it’s only 8mins walk to the outlet!

Located in Wuri, 6.8 km from Daqing Station, Boutech Wuri Village Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hotel is very new and nice designed. The Japanese spa is wonderful, a peaceful and well equipped shower area with 2 hot water pools.

Situated in Jiaoxi, 1.4 km from Jiaoxi Railway Station, Orient Luxury Hotel-Jiaoxi features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. Sparkling clean, high-tech, beautiful, brand new facilities, helpful and attentive staff, luxurious amenities. Breakfast options were very plentiful and delicious. Good location too, only a few minutes by foot from Jiaoxi Transfer Station. The balcony onsen (mountain view option) was absolutely wonderful. So clean, peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view. I did not even want to put on music, as at night you hear a chorus of crickets and other sounds of wildlife from the surrounding mountains.
