We loved our stay at Valldal. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were wonderful. We only wish the weather had been more clear so we could have seen the gorgeous scenery.

Clean and modern bathroom. Good Wifi. Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast spread was very good. Since I did not try public transport, I cannot really comment on the location. Overall, I recommend this Hotel.

Everything is top notch, family owned hotel with great breakfast, motel room was awesome, beautiful location with river and fjord and a lot to do on a day trips around. Also perfect scenery in the evening to enjoy sunsets over fjord. Free rowing boat to enjoy lake :). You can make sandwiches and fill-in bottle of coffee to got for a small fee during the breakfast - we used this offer and it was very nice and convenient.
