Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. One of the my best stays in Iceland. Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

Absolutely incredible hotel! I’m already dreaming of coming back! It’s stylish, cozy, and luxurious, yet has such a welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly (special thanks to the bartender for the best Negroni ever!). The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and the bathrooms are fantastic – lots of space, good lighting, and thoughtful details. The beds were super comfy, making for a great night’s sleep. Outside, there are two large jacuzzis, a sauna, and even a small lake for cooling off. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast choices were so extensive. We only wish we’d stayed longer!

Set 27 km from Hella and 12 km from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The hotel has an Aurora wake up system for which they wake you up (if you want) to see the Northern lights. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Loved the place very scenic. The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. The Staff managed to put away food for us on the side this way when we got to the hotel we had all the meals ready. Thank you hotel Laxa for the great hospitality and good stay!

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was delicious and good value, rooms were nice. Good location to site seeing in the area.

Situated in Ölfus, 48 km from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The hotel is located in a beautiful, scenic area. We arrived late, but the letter and room key were waiting for us at the reception. The hotel has many cozy seating areas and good Wi-Fi. Outside, there is a sauna and hot tubs – it was a wonderful opportunity to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. The room was larger than I expected with beautiful timber walls and great space for clothes.
