This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Iliked almost everything: location, facilities, room, pools etc. The only thing I would recommend is to give more options in breakfast. lack of vegetables and other healthy options was the only thing I didn’t like in this hotel

Basically you are sitting on your patio surrounded with all kind of tropical flowers and vegetation with perfect volcano view . Amazing feeling. Also for birds watching you don’t have to go far. They are all over the place from sunset and all day long.

El Cabañas del Rio es troba a Fortuna, a 5 km de cascada de La Fortuna i a 7 km dels banys termals de Kalambu, i ofereix WiFi gratuïta, aire condicionat, jardí i terrassa. We loved our stay! For starters, the property has a decent size rainforest in their "backyard". We took advantage of that and saw a variety of birds including toucans, howler monkeys, various coloured frogs, a wide variety of plants and flowers. They also host a guided tour for free and we took full advantage of that. In addition, the staff always went out of the way to make us comfortable. The place is located about 20-30 mins from the various La Fortuna attractions, so we were able to cover a few of these every day. The wifi was of good quality. The hot water in the shower was good. Rooms are spacious and comes with a kitchen. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, cutlery etc. There was coffee, sugar, oil and salt available as a complement. There was also parking available for our car.
