Good authentic location; in summer you can even have a swimming pool holiday; the pool of the municipality is opened 7/7 in summer months (€7 per person per day (2023)); we went to Madrid by car approx 40 min; friendly people in the town ( if you speak some Spanish ofc). Little supermarket en two local bars available; also at the swimming pool there are snacking options. Room itself was really clean and practical (shower/tv/AC). Would recommend this.

Palacito de la Rubia is situated in Chinchón and has a saltwater pool and quiet street views. It is located 28 km from Parque Warner Madrid and offers a shared kitchen. The staff was very kind and hospitable. They contacted me multiple times to be sure all was ready for our arrival.The vibe is immaculate, very relaxed and relaxing. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to use the pool but it seemed very sweet. The location is also nice, slightly removed from the central square that can get busier, but still just a few walking minutes from there.

Apartamentos "Casa Rural de Aldea" is a recently renovated country house in Aldea del Fresno, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. Very good place to stay. Clean and good neighborhood.

Estrella rural casa rural en la Sierra de Madrid is situated in Buitrago del Lozoya. The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 50 km from Monasterio de Santa Maria de El Paular. Lovely rustic property, super helpful hosts, little bar next door selling simple but tasty food. (Fried chicken, patatas bravas etc). Huge comfy bed. OJ, milk, butter, jam croissants left in room. Dog friendly.

A good location for a relaxing stay in San Agustín de Guadalix, Finca Aal Cachucho Hotel Rural is a country house surrounded by views of the garden. Fantastic overnight on journey through Spain set in beautiful gardens and a lovely peaceful location. The host was super friendly and accommodating, particularly with cooking for our daughter. The dining room was awesome! Would definitely return.
