The staff at the property were amazing. Specific mention for our waiters at the restaurant, they were extremely passionate about the food and were very knowledgable about all aspects of the region, we learnt so much. Further, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a huge variety of food. Would highly recommend the Vine House to everyone.

The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

Wonderful family run hotel in the heart of the Duoro Valley - perfect for hiking and visiting vineyards. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was lovely and a really nice breakfast as well

Located within 18 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Quinta Alto da Fraga provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. The location was perfect, quiet, tranquil and wonderful views. An easy walk into town. Our hosts were very attentive and informative about the area with excellent sugestions for eating and drinking and exploring some local quintas. Breakfast was great!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Quinta da Ribeirinha - Douro River is a recently renovated farm stay situated in Paços de Gaiolo, 46 km from Douro Museum. It is spectacular with the view and the surroundings. Very quiet and relaxing. The host was amazing and give the place a special vibe that make you feel at home and safe. This is the kind of place that you return to. We stayed in the villa and it was very well equipped with everything you could need.

Situated in Castelo de Paiva, 41 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle, CASA DAS FONTELAS features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, D'Autor Village is a recently renovated villa set in Valadares, 23 km from Douro Museum. Very beautiful arrangement of stone houses working as a hotel. Super friendly staff, excellent breakfast and good service. Enjoyed the pool.

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 36 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. Pool and the views, in the middle of a grapefield. Great bed! Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice little village, and the village fest was nice surprice and bonus.
