Thinking of staying in Wellington…don’t skip past it off the ferry and use this place as your base just 30 mins outside the city and its night and day compared to accommodation in the city. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, there were actually birds singing (and feeding) just off the porch! The rooms and layout is very nice, one of the best places we stayed in on our month in NZ! Great recommendation for a restaurant (the Waterfront was v good).

Located in Wellington, near Wellington Botanical Gardens and Beehive Parliament Building, the historic Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa features a garden. Everything was super easy. Host was great with communication. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean.

Situated in Greytown, Shy Cottage and Studio provides accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Excellent one night stay at the studio. Comfortable beds and very spacious and stylish. Very close to all the ‘action’ in Greytown. Very pretty garden around it.

The Vicarage Martinborough is located in Martinborough. This self-contained cottage is set amongst picturesque private gardens. It offers a patio and BBQ facilities. Totally charming, gorgeous cottage in Martinborough. Lots of generous additions , like free bikes and a huge collection of DVDs to watch . Lots of supplies and thoughtful things you might need dotted about the place. Couldn't fault this place....Excellent value for money ....wished we'd had longer there Could have stayed forever!!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Modern and New 3 Beds fancy home is located in Upper Hutt, 31 km from Wellington Botanical Gardens and 31 km from Wellington Cable Car. Has everything you need, three bedrooms 2 bathrooms and 2 car spaces. Was very clean and tidy and only 10 mins from some great places to eat. Very prompt response from host when I messaged them. I will stay here again for sure!

The home was absolutely spotless, great size rooms and all the amenities you need. Jenny the host was friendly and helpful in her communication. She provided very clear instruction. The property is a short walk from the Waterloo train station and there are bus stops within a very close proximity. I really liked the layout and flow of the house and the fact you separate each space with sliding doors if need be. This property was perfect and easy to access. Will definitely book here again.

Situated in Martinborough in the Wellington region, Dara Vineyard Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features quiet street views. Wonderful place to stay. I cannot fault it. Location is great, tucked away in a small vineyard and walkable to several wineries and Gin distillery. All day sun (and great decks to enjoy the sun). Very tidy and has everything you need. Great little touches like breakfast supplies provided and oils, condiments etc available to use. Owners are very friendly and will give you a walkaround/tour of the vineyard and explain the end to end process. Would highly recommend.
