Beautiful apartment in a beautiful neighbourhood. Very good location, 5-8 mins walk from most of the attractions with lots of eateries nearby as well. Apartment was very clean and very well-appointed.

Wir reisten mit dem Auto etwas spät an, dennoch hat der nette, freundliche Vermieter Takashi mit dem Schlüssel auf uns gewartet. Sakashita ist ein kleiner, eher traditionell strukturierter Ort mit Bahn-/Busanschluss, und daher idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge im Kiso-Tal.

Our host made it easy to pull up and drop your bags first, then park car and return for a brief walk through of the home.

Absolutely beautiful interior and exterior. It was so cosy yet so elegant. The outdoor onsen was so lovely. The facilities were AMAZING, every single thing you could ever need was already thought of and prepared for you already. The location was absolutely perfect aswell, basically in the centre of town but on a lovely quiet street. The host was so wonderful and helpful and because of her suggestions we went to a really great izakaya with some of the best izakaya food I’ve tried in such a long time! I woke up to a beautiful snowy view outside the window of the western style bedroom I felt emotional! (Image attached)

Renovated in 2015, IORI Stay is nestled in Takayama. This traditional Japanese-style townhouse was created in collaboration with local artists and boasts designs with both modern and traditional... We visited Takayama as part of our honeymoon trip and Jackson went out of his way to make us feel welcome at the Iori Lounge & Spa studio apartment! Great location near the old town, spacious room & nice private bath (automatic functions that fill the bath + maintain the temperature, so luxurious!), pajamas, good breakfast, nice amenities.
