A relaxing retreat away from the city, the hotel is a 10-minute drive from the historic Yangshuo West Street. Rustic wood walls, tastefully Chinese-style decoration and classic works of art add to the charm of this property. I loved that this hotel was smack in the middle of the beautiful karst scenery. The hotel had bikes available to rent and provided a wonderful biking route to see lush greenery, flowers, the Yulong river, ancient Chinese bridges and even a little village from the Ming era. The hotel staff was so helpful and warm. The on site restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinners. Highly recommend staying here!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, Guilin Yangshuo Waterhouse River View Villa is located in Yangshuo. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Yangshuo South Bus Station is 2 km from the villa and Darongshu Scenic Area is 8.1 km away. I would give this a 1000/10 rating if I could. I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.

You can play table tennis at the country house, and the area is popular for cycling and hiking. Outdoor play equipment is also available for guests at Yangshuo Loong Old House. Incredibly kind and helpful people in a stunning property. Delicious food, well equipped spacious rooms and unbeatable location. Big plus for arranging a cheap scooter rental too (comes highly recommended for exploring the area)!

The hotel consists of Qing Dynasty buildings that have been beautifully restored to preserve the historic character. All the rooms feature local-inspired décor and traditional furnishing. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The manager went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to enable us to enjoy the place fully.

The cosy and well-designed rooms feature warm lighting and a flat-screen TV. From the private balcony, guests can take in beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub. Fabulous location. Beautiful house, marvellous garden. Perfect service. Always one or more English speaking staff. Very good breakfast. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was huge and so well equipped and nicely decorated, with an amazing view. Nice swimming pool. I regret we didn’t stay longer.
