I have used potters cottage several times now and compared to similar sized and priced properties i have used around sheffield and rotherham this is by far the best. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the building is clean and i feel safe parking my vehicle outside. I will most probably be back in the new year. Thanks

It was quiet with secure parking, electric charge point for EV. Lots of walks from the front door. Kitchen had everything needed plus lots of nice glasses for every type of drink.

This was one of the best we've stayed in. Absolutely beautiful surroundings in the middle of the hills, quiet and loads of breathtaking views on the abundance of walks and cycling paths. The house was luxurious and very spacious with lovely furnishings and kitchen facilities perfect. Best water from tap I've had for a long time... Highly recommend a stay, we'll definitely be back

Lovely cottage, great aesthetic and the hot tub was brilliant. Cottage was well furnished - lots of extras like mince pies, bread loaf, pint of milk in the fridge. Hosts were very communicative & helpful when we were trying to find the lock on the first day! Would love to stay there again.

Great property very close to relatives we were visiting. We stayed with our adult children. It was very comfortable and very well equipped. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses, all nice quality. Fabulous sofas and really comfortable beds. Great bathrooms and good showers over baths. Lovely snacks, coffee, tea, juice and wine left for us. We loved the electric fire in the living room which made it really cosy. Easy access to Millhouses Park - we had a lovely walk there.

    I came here for a relaxing break and it fulfilled all my requirements. The bungalow is cosy and very comfortable, with great beds, a super shower and good wifi. John, the host, could not have been more welcoming and even provided a bottle of sparkling wine and some biscuits. The property is within walking distance of the centre of Penistone and would make a great base for people wanting to explore the beautiful countryside nearby
