    There is so much to do and keep busy.

    There is so much to do and keep busy. The Cango Caves - must see. The Cango Ostrich farm, an amazing experience. Then there was the Wild Life Ranch - have to go! Buffelsdrift, amazingly beautiful. The Rust& Vrede waterfalls - please take cash! The Spur with their friendly staff and the newly opened Hennies! Wish we had a few more days. There was also the Suzuki Safaritown Festival and the Boks game was expceptional.

    Too much to see and do in 2 days - a lovely town with friendly people and plenty of good restaurant's . Participated in their parkrun at Surval Olive farm - beautiful venue and such friendly, helpful marshals and organizers Oudtshoorn is a warm gem

    we have been to Oudtshoorn several times over a number of years. The attractions are mainly the same but still worth a visit - however interesting to see how much the town has grown and evolved. The drive through the Swartberg Mountains is NOT to be missed. The primary reason we took this trip.

    A wonderful spot for a mini break - offers scenic drives and wonderful experiences. The people are generally warm and welcoming. There are many small businesses worth supporting. Stayed at Mooiplaas guest house a few years ago and the service and provisions were highly commendable!

    Spur was open till 10:30 pm making an ideal stop for a great bite on a Friday night. Service was excellent and prompt. Jaco was a real star mechanic to get my vehicle working 100% on Sunday before the drive back to Cape Town.

    Favorite spot is outside the tent when i saw the beautiful landscape, the mountain peaks .There were so many favorite spots,the relaxing and secure tent was a first. We ate at the restuarant on the premises,no need to go outside the range cause everything was there.Next time we are going to bring the kids along cause there park area,chess board and lots of fun things to to for them.

    We only stayed here one night, but were so very impressed with this hotel and its exemplary service. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. When we arrived, I was told that the chef had prepared us a choice of vegan and vegetarian food for dinner - I had informed the hotel about our dietary requirements but this was beyond our expectations. Our meal was delicious and the service was excellent too. Breakfast consisted of a cold buffet and an extensive menu of hot food. Definitely recommend.

    The cottage was self catering and the kitchen well stocked with all necessary utensils and a large fridge / freezer. The hot water was hot and the beds comfortable. There was plenty of room with each bedroom having it's own shower and toilet. The lounge area was spacious. The area was quiet at night. Braai wood was provided. There were even some Springboks inside the large enclosure.

    This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in South Africa. Everything is extraordinary. Such a pity we could not stay longer. I would go back to Oudtshoorn just to stay at the Riverside Guest Lodge.
