In today's living in South Africa, this is undoubtedly the cleanest town I have ever seen. Town and residential areas. Everyone we met, truly welcomed you to their place of business. The Owner of the B & B was particularly helpful with whatever we asked. No matter who we spoke to, every soul was so helpful with a smile and happy travels, thanks for visiting our town; - one could definitely not ask for more. i cant say much on this as i didnt explore Beaufort West. Its my overnight stay enroute to Cape Town. For muslim travellers, wanting to break their journey can do so. Our comfortable room was available at 11:30 even though check-in time was only at 14:00. The hostess, Edith, was very friendly and gave us some tips about restaurants and places to see. We were able to walk to the center of town and on foot we could easily admire the beautiful old buildings the town offers. Our stay in Beaufort West was very pleasant at Villa Contessa, a real Mexican-feel hacienda. I can recommend this guest house!Guest review byChristoSouth Africa - 8.0
