    What an interesting and wonderful area!

    What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. We ended up changing our plans to stay in the Vinh Long area several days longer.

    Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike. The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh. We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.

    This hotel is truly an ideal place for anyone seeking peace and quiet. The space is clean and airy, giving you a sense of comfort the moment you step in. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help, making you feel right at home. I was especially impressed by the lush fruit garden, full of trees heavy with fruit — perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying the fresh air. I’ll definitely come back when I have the chance!

    Spending a few nights at Mekong Pottery was an amazing experience! The host was incredibly helpful and spoke perfect English, making communication a breeze. The dinner prepared by Yennie's mom was absolutely delicious, with flavors that delighted my taste buds. The room was not only clean but also had a unique touch, adding to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend this homestay for a memorable and authentic stay in Vinh Long.

    Beautiful natural setting and super friendly staff, we were made to feel very at home at Phuong Thao. We used the free bikes to explore the island, we ate fantastic food at the homestay and we had a great excursion to the floating market. The pool kept us all happy after our busy mornings! We were sad to leave!
