    While staying at Mai Chau Sky Resort I needed medical attention and was taken to the local hospital, the staff at both the hospital and Mai Chau sky resort were incredibly caring and supportive, I cannot thank them enough.     If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle from Hanoi for a few day Mai Chau is a beautiful little province, it is a great place to start.... Not terribly touristy..... so you will love it......Had we have had the time we would have stayed longer.....

    Simply going for an evening walk in the neighbourhood is a great way to get a feel for the place (on the back, quieter streets where all the homestays are, not the main drag obviously). Mai Chau is clearly a family-oriented community. Get a scooter or a bike and go exploring — it's a fantastic area with incredible scenery.

    We stayed in Ban Lac, it was great for accomodation, food, shoping and as a departure point for bike rides and trips. Very charming and quiet place, surrounded by rice fields and a bit further from the bigger road (still easy to get there). It was our favourite place in Vietnam.

    Nicest Homestay I stayed at in Vietnam. The views from the room are stunning, the dorms are absolutely beautiful with curtains that go all around your bed for a feeling of total privacy. It has a boho/zen vibe to it, the seating area downstairs is also very nice and cozy. I would 100% stay again and recommend to anton who is going to Mai Chau! Aside for the accommodation Tan and her family are all very lovely and welcoming and Tan’s daughter is extremely adorable.

    This place had everything. Incredibly stylish accommodation, great owner, excellent location. We had dinner from the owner with other guests and it was one of the top nights in Vietnam. The laundry is free and I have never seen such perfectly folded clothes. Everything is done with the highest level of care. We were very surprised by Mai Chau and this accommodation is probably one of the reasons we liked it so much.

    Couldn’t recommend this homestay enough! The house is very traditional nestled in the fields of Mai Chau. The family are so welcoming, kind and helpful! The family dinners every night at 7 were incredible, some of the best food I’ve had on my travels, and it’s a good way to meet fellow guests :). Only stayed for a few nights but was sad to leave and I’m already planning to come back before I depart Vietnam!

    It is very quiet and the location is truly remote (20 km from Mai Chau town), something that we were looking for. The staff were few of the kindest people that we have interacted with even though there was a language barrier. They went out of the way to make my husband’s birthday more special. The breakfast was very wholesome with a lot of different kinds of fruits.

    Beautiful location. Lots of cycling possible from the ecolodge, with breathtaking scenery. If you want to cycle for a longer ride, bring your own bike with gears- ecolodge only has (small) singlegear bikes. Lovely staff. Excellent restaurant.
