Beautiful accommodation, absolutely fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Spacious very comfortable, with pleasant and attractive furnishings, good quality appliances , great Wi Fi. For us the very quiet location set in a wooded area was wonderful …..we just wish we had seen a bear! Bryson City which sells everything you might need is a short ride away, and the Smokies National Park for all the our door stuff is very close by. The hosts seemed very nice people and their information book was useful and well put together

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, who were nothing short of outstanding throughout my entire stay. The facilities at Harrah's Cherokee were truly first class. The resort itself was beautifully designed and maintained, with a luxurious atmosphere that made me feel like a VIP. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was evident, from the elegant decor to the impeccable cleanliness. The bedroom I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, offering a great size that allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of activities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided in the room, which added to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay. One of the highlights of my experience at Harrah's Cherokee was the wide range of things to do and see. Whether it was trying my luck at the casino, enjoying a delicious meal at one of the on-site restaurants, or taking in the live entertainment, there was never a dull moment. The resort truly offered something for everyone, and I appreciated the variety of options available. Overall, my stay at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort was exceptional. The outstanding staff, first-class facilities, and spacious bedroom all contributed to a truly memorable experience.     Excellent for being clean. Calm relaxing with creek and fire pit..across street tou have plenty places to eat and fill up with gas ..just few minutes from downtown Cherokee to shop...I would and will be back

    Whittier is between two great places in the mountains.

    Whittier is between two great places in the mountains. The famous Cherokee with its casino is 10 minutes in one direction! In the other direction is a town that holds my heart Bryson City. Both have great family fun activities. Whittier itself has a quiet atmosphere for those who want to visit near by towns and come home to a quiet place. For those who want to enjoy Whittier there is a country club with golf available to the public!

    Wanted an overnight stay so we could go to the casino.

    Wanted an overnight stay so we could go to the casino. This location provided exactly what we needed AND it's pet friendly which helped make the final decision. It provides a large "doggie" area to walk the pets. Lots of fast food restaurants directly across the street....most convenient. Unfortunately, most of them did not provide dine in due to pandemic restrictions but the drive thru's were open.

    Fantastic property and house! Everything was clean and updated, with modern appliances and upgrades in a rustic setting. Loved the massive windows and sun-filled open space. There are 3(!) decks, and each was peaceful and relaxing. We loved the grounds and views, along with the privacy. The location is fantastic - less than 15 minutes to Harrah's Cherokee, Bryson City (take the pretty backroads!), Dillsboro, and Sylva. There are some great restaurants and shopping in those towns.

    The 2 bedroom cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful on the back porch. . We could sit, relax, and watch the river from the back porch. I would recommend staying in the cabins by the river, at Qualla. It's very close to the casino.. The Food Lion grocery store is close, too. I totally enjoyed my stay.

    The pictures were VERY misleading. The absolutely filthiest place we have EVER seen. It definitely should be removed from your list. We walked in and directly out the door. The smell and the filth was beyond imaginable. We are requesting a Full Refund. Being high foliage season it was challenging to find a hotel that was not full.

    Really nice secluded hotel in a beautifully forested garden, very quiet and calm. We stayed in one of the "Spa suite rooms". It is also located conveniently short distance from the main road toward the Great Smoky National Park (15min drive). The room was really nice and comfortable with a little patio.

    The cabin was in a gated community which was nice. It was really comfortable and had things to do while you were there. Pool table, Ping pong and a basketball ball rim and all equipment. Had a fire pit which was great for s'mores. The kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave
