Mostly it's a stop along the way to other areas.
Mostly it's a stop along the way to other areas. Not a lot of touristy activities but staying over is pleasant enough. The people in the town are friendly. It's very small and there are only a few restaurants, so don't expect fancy fare, just basic pizza or diner food. There is a full service grocery store despite the small size of the town if none of the take out is appealing to you. There is a national park with access just east of the town with a passable road into the wilderness (summer only) that leads to some really beautiful scenery along the Thompson River.
