I prefer not to spend money on a fancy hotel when all I need is a safe, clean, and quiet place to stay while traveling. The Serenity Inn Sweetwater was an exceptional value. Cleaner than some of the high-priced places I have stayed. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional. I arrived early and I was able to check in. Multiple reasonably priced restaurants nearby (barbecue was fabulous and very close by!), including grocery stores and even a Walmart! I travel between Greenville, SC and Nashville, Tn, and THIS is a great place for me to stop if I don't want to drive the distance in one day.

It was clean. Breakfast options were great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Mexi Wing has the best wings you will ever have! Huddle house was walking distance to my hotel. The Lost Sea is great.

I did request a smoking room, but was horrible with stale smoke. The comforter had cigarette burns and the chair was filthy. They charged me for a wash cloth I DID NOT TAKE.
Did have coffee in the lobby. No breakfast with covid.

Because our trip was on motorcycles we requested ground floor rooms thru Booking.com. The hotel did not receive this request, but they were able to accommodate us. We decided to stay an additional night and we're again accommodated. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We would stay there again.
Breakfast was very basic but met our needs. Room was clean, carpet newish and plenty of space for us. We had adjoining rooms which was nice for the rest of our party. Parking was easy and great location for some food options. Room and hotel met all our needs.
