Hotels in San Antonio were so expensive I stayed here. This Hotel is better than “Motel 6” and similar to “Super 8”. If you have an 18 wheeler there is no room to park. A large U-Haul will have to park in the front. It is possible to get a large U-Haul with a trailer into the front parking lot. However, the front parking lot cannot be seen from any of the rooms. Therefore, I would be concerned about the security of my personal belongings. This hotel is shaped like a square with a pool inside the square. The rooms inside the square face the pool and experience a lot of noise due to pool activity. I initially gave it too high of a rating before I had gone to find/use facilities in hotel. I know because of Covid normal serving of breakfast was diminished. But besides coffee, juice & granola bars, more food items could have been offered. Example - bananas, apples, packaged muffins, cookies, milk, etc. We've had that in several hotels along the way on this trip. Also when I went to get ice this morning, the ice machines on 3rd & 2nd floors had none or were not working! I finally tried machine on first floor by pool interest that had ice.
