St. C. is a small picturesque city, that is walkable, does have level and fairly challenging inclines. A lovely walking trail is nearby. The downtown has several small boutiques and the Ohio Valley Mall for shopping. Several restaurants for various plates; great pizza at Fabiod, DiCarlos, Defelice or Milanos.

I have been staying at this location in St Clairesville for several years when I come visit from Texas. The staff are the BEST ever (wanna shout out for Lorraine!!) The Inn is quiet, pleasant and so easy to get around the town). Never a problem and always a great experience! Recommend highly!!

I was in town for the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival with family. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good. Dove Brand products were provided. A small hand soap for the sink and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were attached to the wall in the shower, so there were no itty bitty bottles to try to share between travelers. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and there was only 1 nightstand between the beds...I wish there were nightstands on both sides of each bed for better convenience.

This hotel was very well maintained and the staff were all very accommodating. We were just passing through but wished there was one of these on our route in Charleston, WV. We will look for these in the future.

They treated us more like 2nd class citizens since we booked the room through a 3rd party. We received a room with a smaller bed than what we booked and we were told by the lady at the front desk that since we booked through a 3rd party, we get what we get and that 3rd party bookings are not accurate. I will not stay there again.

Extremely friendly and helpful community. The restaurants that were recommended to us were great! Undos Italian Grill and West Texas steakhouse, delicious food and reasonably priced.we stayed at Candlewood suites, great hotel and conveniently located to shopping, amenities and close to freeways. The staff at the hotel were friendly, knowledgeable, polite and gave us great suggestions for our outings and dining options. Shout out to the wonderful staff: Scott Wilson, sales mgr; Haley Anthony; GM; Colin, front desk and Sarah, Sarrie and Amanda, our fantastic housekeepers ! We loved our kitchenette, made our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay at Candlewood suites again.
