What a gorgeous place. Lots of options for food and drink. Lots of history with tours. Just avoid at the weekends as it’s full of hen nights and gangs partying. We are at Casa Reina for Mexican food with Margaritas We did the trolley tour which was gave discounts on other venues. We have lived in SC for 44 years and had never been to St. Augustine, FL so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. We chose to go in September which is the "slow" part of the year but it gave us plenty of time to enjoy the city. We took the shuttle from Southern Oaks Inn to the historical district most days. We walked, we shopped, and we enjoyed time being together. We took the "Hop On - Hop Off" shuttle once we were in the historical district. The drivers were knowledgeable and entertaining. We toured the Castillo de San Marcos Fortress, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and a sunset cruise on the Black Raven. Very enjoyable trip!Guest review byDeboraUnited States - 10.0

As a native Floridian, I almost feel embarrassed to admit that his was my first trip to St. Augustine. But wow! What a great experience! The town isn't large, per se, but it is densely packed with history. We cut our visit short by one day, but we left too early to be finished with our exploration of the city. St. Augustine is a must for all ages!!! The history of our oldest city is remarkable. Take the Trolley that allows you to get on and off at each stop to see and learn all about this amazing city!
